These Terms and Conditions state how individuals, companies, governments and organisations who register on ICONdirect.net ("the Members") may use this website. If you use ICONdirect.net ("the Website") you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.
The Website has been set up to create a community of interest between those individuals and organisations involved in international development and construction. It provides opportunities for Members to provide information of interest to and interact with other Members. Access to the Website

On registration Members are issued with a username and password which must be used to access certain restricted parts of the Website.
Members are responsible for all information posted in the Website by anyone using their username and password.
If Members are concerned that unauthorised persons may use their username and password they should notify us immediately.
We endeavour to allow uninterrupted access to the Website at all times, but we do not guarantee that access may not be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time.

Content

We endeavour to ensure that the information on the Website is materially accurate and to correct any errors or omissions when they are notified to us. However the information provided to us on ICONdirect.net is gathered from many sources and we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information.
Members are responsible for providing accurate information for their entries on the Website. Members are responsible for ensuring that no data that is submitted is untrue, defamatory, obscene, abusive or otherwise objectionable or in breach of any applicable laws or rights of third parties.
We reserve the right to delete information submitted by Members without limiting our rights to seek other remedies.
Members shall retain copyright in information posted to the Website. By submitting information to the Website Members are granting us royalty-free non-terminable licence to use, copy, distribute, publish and transmit the information in any manner.

Payment

Some of our services require payment. The costs of the services are listed on the Website at the point of purchase. Payment is required within 28 days of receipt of an invoice from us.

We retain the right to alter the fees or charges for services at any time.

Failure to pay an invoice when due may result in a Member's information being removed from the Website. We will notify Members by email confirming our intention to remove the information. Company profiles are invoiced and can be paid by credit card (by telephone or email) or by cheque.

Payment for other services can be made by over the web using World Pay.

Payments for any service are accepted by credit card and can be made in Pounds Sterling, Euros, or US dollars.

ICONdirect REFUND POLICY

It is agreed that since web-only services are supplied immediately upon purchase following acceptance of this agreement members have no right to cancel and no cooling off period is provided.

However, following the purchase of a new company profile, we provide members with a seven-day money back guarantee, less a fee to cover the cost of administration. A member will have seven days to exercise their right to receive their money back from the commencement date on the first of the month following the submission of their profile. The administration fee is £100. We must receive a written request for a refund within seven days from the commencement date and a reimbursement will be to the member within 30 days.

Privacy

Members put information on the web for the purposes of promotion. Members' information is available to other Members and, where specified on the Website to the general public. Members may suspend the publication of their entry online at any time on request.
We comply with the UK Data Protection Act 1998. We follow security procedures in the storage and disclosure of Members' information provided to prevent unauthorised access. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information.

Liability

We accept no liability for the accuracy, reliability, completeness or availability of the content, services or links on the Website.
We exclude all liability (to the fullest extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage arising from the use of any information on the Website.

Governing law

These terms and use of the Website are subject to English law.
In the event of a dispute or difference, a single independent mediator will be appointed by both parties to mediate the dispute.
