East African Engineering Consultants was founded in 1967 as an unlimited liability company incorporated in Kenya. The policy of the company is to provide an engineering consultancy advice suited to the needs of developing countries to both public and private clients. This policy implies specialization in engineering infrastructure works under the direction of Kenyan registered engineers.

The firm provides a dedicated multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy service covering the fields of highways, structures, geo-technical and topographical surveys with a full range of support facilities. Regular assignments comprise feasibility studies, soils and material testing, design, preparation of contract documents and specifications, tender evaluation and supervision of construction.

The firm is conversant with the requirements of International Agencies and has been retained to undertake assignments funded by the African Development Bank, the World Bank, the U.K. Department for International Development and other bodies for the provision of consulting engineering services.

The company has three main sections, which provide comprehensive and dedicated consulting engineering services suited to the particular requirements of diverse clients. These are the Highways Engineering, Public Health Engineering, and Structural Engineering Sections, which are supported by the Soils and Materials Engineering and the Engineering Surveys section.
