General descriptionFinnconsult Oy is a Finnish consulting company specialising in the provision of planning, co-ordination and support services to international technical assistance projects. Our substantial experience has been gained since the founding of the company in 1963. At present Finnconsult’s assignments cover areas of expertise such as development planning, monitoring and evaluation, rural development and natural resources management, health and social development, water supply and sanitation, education and human resources development, infrastructure development, promotion of human rights and democracy, business and private sector development.Finnconsult has project references from more than 40 countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Pacific Region as well as in Central and Eastern Europe. Our main clients include the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, the European Commission, international organisations, governmental agencies and development banks. Today our staff consists of about 30 full-time professionals with degrees in economics, engineering, social sciences, agricultural and forest sciences, medicine, education, law and business administration.
